The Zanafi weaving technique vaguely resembles kilim, but the threads here are thicker and softer. The characteristic features of these carpets are a simple geometric pattern of thick braids on top of the carpet and only two colors. Often there are combinations of light, black, gray, or blue wool. Only natural dyes are used. The rug is hand-woven in the regions of southern Morocco adjacent to the Sahara. Sanofi is easy to care for. We recommend dry cleaning or local removal of dirt.
